Avi Rubin recently made a TED Talk about the dangers of modern devices, cars and aids, how everything can be hacked, everything can be exploited. It really is an amazing talk and a real eyeopener for many people. Take a look.

Yesterday Google announced on their chrome blog about the beta release of chrome
I have tried it out on my SGS2 running CM9, here are some features i really like:
- On the first run it asked to sync bookmarks from my google account, NICE!
- Click on a link that is close to another link and it will magnify the area pressed in a small “pop up”
- On google pages it ask for auto-authentication with your phones google account
- Tight integration with google pages (asking to use the mobile counterparts etc)
- Very smooth tab creation/switching (ICS style switching)
I experienced some force closes, this might although be because the phone is running a custom ICS that is not fully stable yet (also it is not the latest release).
If you’re interested in how it compares performance-wise against other browsers, AnandTech has published some benchmarks.
Available on market (If not available in your country try this apk)
Last year Corning released a concept video called “A day made of glass” that went viral on youtube.
Now a year later they have released another concept video about what will be possible in the future with glass:

Some people are not very fond of Skrillex’s music, I believe however, that they don’t like the sound in his music, the melodies are actually very good and you just have to kind of filter out the noise and listen to the melody instead. Don’t believe me? Listen for yourself on this awesome cover:
If you liked Kick-Ass or Super, you’re probably going to like God Bless America too
The movie is about Frank, an unemployed and unloved man who gets diagnosed with terminal cancer. With nothing left to lose he goes on a killing spree to rinse out the people that he doesn’t like. He also gets accompanied by a girl named Roxy that shares his view of the world.
The Firefox developers have started releasing Firefox versions on a six-week basis, and this week it was time for Firefox 10 to say hello to the world.

The new Firefox 10 can be downloaded from their site and if you are interested in what has been fixed, here is a long list for you, or here if you just want the essentials and not the full list of fixes.
One of the more noticeable changes is the forward button, which from now on will be hidden until there actually is something to go forward to.
For developres they have made some neat additions, such as an improved developer panel that will help a lot when trying to figure out which elements to style with css, it is also possible to do changes on-the-fly to the css code to see the result.
The reason for the six-week release cycle is to keep up with modern web standards, and since the release of FF10 the browser now also has support for 3d effects created with css3, which is a nice addition for the end user (and for the web-developer that doesn’t have to implement workarounds for browsers that don’t support these effects yet).
As I was pursuing 4chan today I found a neat way to hack private albums on photobucket. It takes a bit of time (up to several hours sometimes), but is quite doable.
What you need is to download Nav.net (http://navnetapp.com/)
In short Nav.net is a fusker, a utility that extracts images from a web page (typically free hosted galleries). Fuskering can also be used to download videos from websites, spider sites for hitten content and so on.
After downloading and installing the software there are several things you can do. You can:
- Search through pictures on photobucket in open galleries by keywords
- Search for Photobucket users open galleries
- Fuskering Photobucket images
- Search for fuskerable images.
- Fusker private galleries
- Find out if someone has a Photobucket account

Mark Shuttleworth (Founder of the Ubuntu project) posted on his blog the other day about a coming feature in Ubuntu 12.04:
The Ubuntu Head-Up Display, which I believe will make navigation in apps very smooth (look at the video below to see for yourself)
I hope the HUD will be compatible with gnome-shell aswell, since I am not so fond of the Unity UI shipped with Ubuntu.
